Chaillot Expérience Méditerranées
Mediterranean dance has experienced a remarkable resurgence in recent years with folk dances and contemporary styles cross-pollinations derived from hip hop as well as conceptual and experimental languages. This Chaillot Expérience, conceived with Syhem Belkhodja, a prominent figure of Tunisia’s dance and culture scene, presents some of the young generation of North African choreographers and dancers interacting with other art forms such as music, visual art and cinema. Conceived as a cross-cultural event, several pieces will work as connecting bridges between the two shores of the Mediterranean Sea with festive and galvanizing vibes.
