The building
A landmark of Art Deco style, the Palais de Chaillot was built for the 1937 Universal Exhibition. At its heart, beneath the Trocadero esplanade, Chaillot-Théâtre national de la Danse is one of Paris's most prestigious venues, ideally situated opposite the Eiffel Tower.
Vestibules, galleries and foyers follow one another and overlap, creating breathtaking perspectives. Three performance halls can accommodate 1,600 spectators: the Salle Jean Vilar, currently under renovation, the Salle Firmin Gémier (400 seats) and the Studio Maurice Béjart (80 seats).
