This immersive installation plunges a small group of spectators into a space bathed in video and music, composed by Olivier Mellano, to live together the symbolic experience of a tipping point and a metamorphosis of matter.

Is it the one before dying or the one before being born? A suspended moment, Dernière minute confronts the materiality of bodies with the vertigo of the infinite. Based on an intimate experience – the death of a father, coinciding with the birth of a son – Claire Bardainne and Adrien Mondot have conceived more than a performance: an existential rite. Their immersive installation places the audience "at particle height", in order to experience the exact tipping point between the before and after. Imagining themselves as a drop of water or melting with the waves, burning to ash or gliding through the air, the audience, in small groups, is plunged into a multidimensional space. Images and sounds compose a narrative without words, a score of metamorphosis with which each body can interact. And become the actor of their own dreamlike journey.
