Jeune Ballet du CNSMD de Lyon
Body Scores
Welcome to the new generations: in this program, the dancers of the Jeune Ballet explore the territories of emerging choreographers nourished by the crossbreeding of dance practices, communities and styles.
The Jeune Ballet from Lyon has energy and talent in spades. This troupe of dancer-students at the end of their training, under the artistic direction of Kylie Walters, combines solid training in classical and contemporary dance with a devouring appetite for experimentation. This rich program is a testament to this, with no less than four creations based on the notion of the body, the theme of their year of study. Performative and inseparable from the notion of a work of art for Eszter Salamon, present-absent between power and fragility for Christian Ubl, intensely musical for the choreographer and electro composer Rubén Julliard, or transformed into a veritable score at the crossroads of disciplines by DD Dorvillier: everywhere the body exults, and the performers give it their all.
