Le Dernier Testament

Known on screen as well as on stage (Quentin Tarantino, Mike Mills), actor and director Mélanie Laurent hits Chaillot with this first staging. The hero of James Frey’s The Final Testament of the Holy Bible, novel that Laurent is here adapting to the stage, is the guy next door but a little different. Born in Brooklyn, an ecologist averse to any dogmatism, his humility and gentleness cause a stir wherever he goes. According to some eyewitnesses, he is the Messiah. Has he ever existed or is he a fantasy?
