This time again the third flamenco art Biennale features an exceptional lineup, bringing Paris close to the heart of duende. This festival at Chaillot, co-curated with the Sevilla Biennale, also offers some surprising ad hoc shows, including D. Quixote by Spanish choreographer Andrés Marín. More specifically, the Biennale demonstrates that the cante jondo and baile are not merely art forms rooted in Andalusia’s tradition, but also an inexhaustible breeding ground for choreographic and musical inventions. Come to Chaillot to discover these acts that will make you go from laughs to tears, bringing all the singular and breathtaking shades of today’s flamenco.
