Everything about the phenomenal figure of flamenco dancers seems tailored to inspire a fashion designer: the virtuosity of the arms and hands, the swiftness of the leg and hip movements, the pride of heads and napes, etc. What more could one wish for to set off lines and shapes? The young generation of Spanish designers has obviously embraced these aesthetic codes to incorporate them into a movement which now has it annual show (International show of flamenco fashion). Among these designers, Rosalía Zahíno et Encarna Solá are genuine luminaries. Rosalía Zahíno’s creations stand out for their style, originality and elegance. She puts together extraordinary combinations of materials, colors and styles, merging the aesthetic of past eras with the most cutting-edge creation. This show was conceived with the help of Encarna Solá and Pedro Gonzalez as a surprising walk through Chaillot’s Grand Foyer!
