Carolyn Carlson
Inanna
Yoshi Omori
With this work inspired by the figure of Inanna, a Mesopotamian divinity, Carolyn Carlson signs a political and poetic piece, an ode to the incarnation of the feminine being in which seven dancers express the harmony of bodies and passions. In a set made of brick (by Euan Burnet-Smith) and with poems as her inspiration, Carlson evokes the “mysterious energy that arranges everything we see in the sky, wrinkling time and space.”
